Fab Friday-Woo,Hoo!!

Happy Friday everyone, and also Happy Father's Day since this Sunday is to celebrate all the Daddy's in the world..

Let's see, I was off from work today so I just laid in the bed all day-sleeping! I didn't wake up until about 3pm to do some household chores before leaving out to drive to the store. I treated myself to a Taco Bell Chalupa, and it was really good too!! After taking care of business, I came back home to get the house cleaned up a bit for the weekend-I am expecting guests over. I still haven't planned what I will be fixing for dinner? Hmm, I am thinking of maybe just ordering a pizza or I may suggest going to Golden Corral for All-You-Can-Eat food!!

I am off..I have a lot of work to do before the guests arrive...Have a safe and wonderful weekend!!

Wow, A gorgeous day outside with the sun shining in the blue skies as a cool breeze blows in the wind! A great day to be enjoying the sights and sounds of Nature!!!

Today, I drove over to the Barnes & Noble Book store to play around with the New Nook! It is a fascinating piece of technology! And, I had a cuppa of Java while at the book store as a read a couple of magazines. After leaving the B&N, I drove to Office Depot to purchase a pack of computer paper, Ink cartridges and some other odds and ends.

I am thinking of having dinner at Olive Garden Restaurant...A friend of mine suggested that last night as we spoke on the phone. Plus, I am craving their new Four Cheese Pastachettis w/ Grilled Chicken-Yum!!!

I didn't feel like creating any New Digikits...Maybe tomorrow. But enjoy the other Kits that are posted on the Blog!

The weather for today is perfect and " Summer is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces up, snow is exhilarating; there is no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather. "

Fab Friday and National Tea Day

Happy Friday, and also today is National Tea Day!! So, Have a cuppa and get your teabagging on some time today. And, Nothing like a cuppa tea during a Thunderstorm! The sun made a brief appearance today before the day started turning dark and the Thunder could be heard crashing in the sky and later the rains poured down from the heavens. A great day to have a sip of Tea!

I was off from work today but I managed to get a lot accomplished around the house. I washed clothes, vacuumed the carpets and walked the dog. Also, I did a little grocery shopping today and purchased a delicious meal from Hibachi Grill Restaurant. So, It was a very productive day today!!

I am so ready for the weekend! I am thinking of driving to Washington, DC to take a couple of photos of our national monuments and the beauty of the city.

Hotter than Hell

This is heat and Humidity is causing quite a stir outside! After taking a shower and as soon as I stepped outside, The perspiration started sweating feverishly!! My car's temp reads 97 degrees but the humidity makes it feel more like 101 degrees!! Hot, Hot and Hot rule the day for today and Summer hasn't even started yet...

According to an article in the USA Today, Schools and other businesses will be closing early because of this extreme Heat. And, I can't believe some schools don't have air conditioners in the classroom?!

Anyway, I was indoors for most of the day..Too Hot to venture outdoors. I mainly surfed the Internet and browsing the digikits. I did pay a few Bills Online. This is somewhat of a lazy, hazy day and the perfect day to just sleep in a cool room.

Hmm...

Hmm, last night I was going thru my old belongings and i came across my first article that I had published. I was only 17 years old when this article was published in Horseplay Magazine! Oh how the years do fly by....

I haven't created any new Digikits today. I have been just so busy with other things and now that the days are getting longer and the nights shorter, It seems as though not enough time to get things accomplished in my life! But I am not complaining because I prefer the longer days and the Sunshine!!! :-)

Life is about taking risks and being prepared for opportunities that may come of the risks.

Well, I have to get ready to go to the grocery store. I have to pick up a few things after leaving work and before I go home. For now, Adios and Tengan Un Buen Dia!!!

Hidey Hoo Everyone...

Today is another beautiful day with the sun shining in the blue skies as a cool, Spring breeze blows in the wind. I almost hate the thought of Summer is so close by with the Heat and humidity.

Also, I had lunch at delightful little restaurant in Little Italy located Downtown Baltimore. The food was great, the atmosphere was romantic even though I wasn't their for romance. :) After lunch, I had to get back to work but the good thing, I get off early since it is Fab Friday-Woo, Hoo!!! I can't wait to get my weekend going...Lots of places I want to visit! I will be travelling to Washington, DC this weekend so if you see me walking around the streets..come up and say "Hi!" or just give me a Hug!! :-)

Life's Enjoyments

What a difference a day makes when it comes to this weather. Yesterday's Hot and Humidity gave way to today's Cool Breezes and sunshine with low humidity. A wonderful day to be outside! And, That is just what I did today when I visited the Carrie Murray Nature Center during my lunch break. After the lunch break, I didn't feel like returning to work-LOL!!

I manage to capture the above the photo during my walks at the Nature Center.

I will be posting another Digikit on the Blog-maybe tomorrow? It is just too good of a day to just sit at a computer all day. I spent most of the day outside enjoying the cool, mild breeze and warm sunshine when I wasn't working. But don't tell the Boss-Shhhh! :-)

A day of enjoying Nature and beauty of the world and in closing I would like to say:

I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore,

there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing

I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now,

Scorcher of A Day

Well, It is another scorcher of a day here in the USA!! The sun is blazing and the humidity level is HIGH!! A great day to turn on the Air Conditioner or go for a Swim!

Unfortunately, I have to work at the Full Time job so I can't go for a swim-Boo, Hoo! But I am in an air conditioned building working! :-) I am thinking of what to do when I get off from work? Maybe I will visit my favorite restaurant to order dinner for tonight...

Also, A lovely poem I thought I'd share with you today. It is about Tree Dreams!

In the dream all that remained where the tree had stood
was a stump that marked
its former place at the incline
on which a trail curved back as it climbed
through white stones and grass
from the streambed to the deserted mine
and up into the stars. In the dream
some friends who had never seen the tree
