Happy Wednesday and hope it was a Happy One for you. My day was quiet and peaceful just how I like it on most days.  I read an interesting article on social media where they use Cactus to create leather..Amazing Right?  Here's a snippet of the article below and if you want to read more go to my Facebook or MeWe social media site (click the Tab above) 

The company’s called Adriano Di Marti and they’ve formulated a new technique to create a fabric using cactus leaves called Desserto. Cactus, known for its rugged nature is quite hard and thick and pointy, however, when fully processed, it not only feels like actual leather, but since it is made from cactus -- a plant that can grow in the desert with minimum moisture -- it doesn’t consume as much water.

In other news, The Coronavirus is causing havoc all over the world and people are frightened that it could come to America....and we have a stupid president who is cutting staff at the CDC. The World and America are in TROUBLE!! 

Enough news for now cause it is depressing. But I hope they find a cure for this Coronavirus soon before it kills a lot of people.

Sunday Visitor

Hidey Hoo and i hope all are having a great Sunday Funday thus far. I am having a peaceful and quiet day so far just the way I like it although I could use some excitement on some days. 

And, This is a looooong holiday weekend for some-President's Day is on Monday-and most Banks, Federal Institutions and schools are closed. 

And, Valentine's weekend is upon us...It came and went with me. I really don't like Valentine's cause I prefer Easter and want to see Peter Cottontail come hopping down the Bunny Trail.

And, My brother came up to visit from Virginia-the one who he and his family have no life- and it was really nice to see him. He baked some sugar-coated walnuts and took our mother shopping at Costco.  Also, This weekend is my Dad's Birthday. 

My other brother will be visiting on Tuesday-maybe? He and his family have a life. 

Well, I gotta go and take care of some personal business and maybe take a nap cause I feel my eyelids are getting heavy, Hehe.  Have a good one and pay it forward to all you meet.

Hidey Hoo and it's the day after Valentine's Day!! Ain't no action happen over here except a lot of sleeping and eating, Hehe! Oh, and it was my Dad's birthday. 

Hope all had an excellent Love Day and I'm sure a lot of lovemaking and baby making will be made tonight.  Actually, I hate Valentine's Day bring on the real holiday which is Easter for me!! I wanna see Peter Cottontail hopping down the bunny trail, Hehe.

Hey Peeps and I hope all had a wonderful Monday thus far?! I had a peaceful day even though it was raining all day-perfect sleeping weather.  I found that Hilarious cartoon on one of my social media pages and had to share on the Blog. President Trump awarded the highest medal to Rush Limbaugh, a radio host, who is known for racist comments, and this cartoon sums it up really nicely. 

And speaking of Trump, He and Pence are still in office but thank goodness we only have a couple of months left in this term until we VOTE THEM OUT!! 

Enough Trump and Pence cause it's time to move on to a new topic. I found this interesting Blog titled "Life's Footprints" which has really interesting stories from everyday people. The stories are written by a lady who is a Podiatrist-I'll post an interesting Podcast containing an interview with her soon.  If you'd like to check out the Blog, click here.

Senate Acquits Trump

"In a vote that was predictable but momentous, President Trump was acquitted by the Senate on the charges contained in two articles of impeachment, related to abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, that had been endorsed by the House of Representatives in December.

The final vote was 48 to 52 on Article I, and 47 to 53 on Article II. The only surprise was when Mitt Romney of Utah voted to convict Trump on the first article, in what would prove the lone GOP defection. Every Democrat voted to convict Trump, though there had been concern that legislators from Trump-friendly states, in particular Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Doug Jones of Alabama might ultimately side with Trump.

None ultimately did, leaving Romney as the only senator to vote against his party. In fact, he became the first senator in United States history to vote in favor of convicting a president of his own party in an impeachment trial...." 

Well, That was the news broadcast on all the Media late this evening. Donald J. Trump has been acquited by the Senate!! I don't know how I feel about this news but I do know one thing...America has never sunk so low!! But in reality, I am kind of glad that Trump isn't leaving cause then we'd have to deal with Pence and it's just a couple more months until we VOTE HIM OUT!!!   It just goes to show what money will buy....You can be a criminal and Con but with lots of money you can free yourself.

Enough of that news, It was a Gorgeous day today. The kind of day to go horseback riding but I ended sleeping most of the day away. I need some excitement in my life cause lately I'm feeling kind of BORED!! Although I am not bored when I am on the computer creating a lil Graphic Art cause I enjoy that and creating.
