Heat and Humidity

Hot and Humid day today! The sun is blazing Hot as the humidity level rises higher up the thermometer! A scorcher of a day today, and the weather forecasters have issued a Code Orange meaning that certain people with breathing problems should avoid being outside. I guess Summer Season is HERE!!

Today is osmewhat of an eneventful day! Nothing spectacular happened today. I woke, logged onto the computer to check emails, surf the Internet and check the latest digikits available. I played around with a couple of software loaded onto the computer before logging off to take care of other business.

And, I managed to read the Online Newspapers to see what today's headlines are...One such topic was the Drought brought on by the Heat in the NY Times. The first paragraph mentions that hogs aren't even eating because of the extreme heat!!

And, in other news, President Obama is still dealing with the Budget. The NY Times article states that: " President Obama challenged Republicans on Monday to live up to their demands to cut the nation’s deficit and address its long-term debt by enacting spending cuts, revenue increases and changes to entitlement programs."

And in lighter news, Google has announced its' New Social Network and it will be competing with Facebook. And, according to the NY Times, The most popular person on Google+ is Mark Zuckerberg, Founder of Facebook! " As of Tuesday evening, Mr. Zuckerberg had nearly 35,000 people following his updates on the service, more than anyone else in a broad survey of Google+ profiles by Social Statistics, an outside service. " Whew, It seems as though Google's social network will be a FLOP and it hasn't even opened to the general public yet?!! But, only time will tell how well it does and if it will surpass Facebook!!
