First Day of Spring

The First Day of Spring........not that we had a bad winter since it felt more like Spring thru-out the Winter season! But it is just the thought of Spring has finally Sprung!!

And, The horses are enjoying the First day of Spring as well!! I took this photo in the morning as I was walking down to the Barn to feed the horses....it is as if they want their picture taken. They look so darling!
And, The top graphic page was made with a New kit that I am working on and will soon post to the Blog some time at the end of the week-I hope life doesn't add any distractions? This will be my best kit ever and i am also creating an Alpha Set to go along with the Kit!! It should be a Fun and Exciting Kit to play with and create some lovely pages!!

In news today, A Florida Teenage Boy was killed for just walking down his neighborhood. He just went to the store to purchase a bag of Skittles and it ended up costing the youngster his life! A sad tragedy and this shouldn't have happened.... Some are calling it a Racist motive and others just don't know what to say about this incident.  If you'd like to read more of the story, Here is the link to USA Today Online Newspaper

And, In other news, In Vitro Babies denied citizenship into the United States-WTF? This story is so bizarre and I have a lot of questions swirling in my mind and would love to ask the Mother! Here is a paragraph from the article printed in USA Today Online Edition:
An embassy staffer wanted to know whether Lavi got pregnant at a fertility clinic. She said yes and was told that her children were not eligible for citizenship unless she could prove that the egg or sperm used to create the embryo was from an American citizen."

And, In other news, The Cherry Blossoms are Blooming in Washington, DC after a mild winter! I guess Mother Nature has fooled the plants this year in thinking of an early Spring.. According to an Online article in USA Today: It's almost as if they know they need to produce a special show of their pink and white blooms for 2012, which marks the 100th anniversary of the planting of the trees as a gift from Japan."  I guess Spring has Sprung in our Nation's Capitol-woo,hoo!!

Well, I gotta run and take care of some errands today...and I want to enjoy this beautiful weather by spending some time outside soaking up the sun!! Adios for now...
