New 2016 Year

Happy New 2016 Year!!! 

Well, another year has come upon us and with it comes the hope of New Things to Come!! Although when I look out my window I still see the same 'ole things from last year. LOL!! 

Oh and before I forget, sad news was reported today! The Legendary singer Natalie Cole passed away Thursday at a California hospital. She was 65. You can read more on Natalie by reading the USA Today article here. 

In other news, I woke up today to enjoy this lovely day even though it is starting to feel like Winter. I was really loving the mild days we had in December and was praying for a mild winter but I guess that praying didn't help.  But Keep Hope Alive!!
  I don't have anything planned this New Year's Day so I may just chill around the house. Thank goodness New Year's Day fell on a Friday and close to the weekend-WooHoo!! A three day weekend for most people although most probably had the whole week off from work.
Well, I gotta go and see what I can do to be productive. I hope all have a Blessed and peaceful day and celebrate the New 2016 Year!!!

Day after Xmas

Happy Holidays and I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas?! I had a great Christmas and spent it with family eating, laughing and going down memory lane. A fun and exciting day we had!! 

i received lots of money and I plan on doing some Online shopping to take advantage of the Post-Christmas sales and get the items that I didn't get as gifts. 

 And soon it will be time to celebrate the New Year's!! I can't believe 2015 is almost over cause it seems like we just rang in the year. Oh well, I guess we will be ringing in 2016 in a couple of days!! I am looking forward to a New Year, New Challenges, New Opportunities and maybe a New change of scenery!! 

Well, I gotta go and take care of some personal errands but I hope all have a Blessed Day and remember to be kind to everyone who you meet!! 

Saturday Bliss

Hello and I hope all are having a great Saturday thus far. My day has started kind of late today cause I just didn't want to get out of the bed. it felt like the bed was sucking me in under the covers, Haha!! Don't you ever have one of those days where you just don't feel like getting out of bed? 

Anyway, I managed to slowly crawl out of bed to accomplish what I set out to do today. i am loving this mild winter so far in December....and i hope it stays mild all winter until the beginning of Spring! Also, Soon it will be time to celebrate a New Year...It seems as though this year just flew by so fast!! 

Well, I  gotta go and take care of some business before night comes and time to climb back into the bed.  Have a blessed day and be kind to everyone you meet.
